Mayajaal International respects the privacy of applicants and is committed to handling personal information responsibly and in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Effective Date: 11 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how personal information submitted through mayajaalinternational.com and through the official recruitment process of Mayajaal International may be collected, used, processed and shared.

This Policy applies to the Mayajaal International website, its official application forms and information provided directly to Mayajaal International in connection with an overseas employment application.

Information We Collect

The information collected may vary depending on the destination, position and stage of an application.

We may collect information such as:

  • full name
  • date of birth and age
  • marital status
  • mobile and WhatsApp number
  • email address
  • present and permanent address
  • district
  • educational qualifications
  • employment or professional experience
  • guardian or emergency contact information
  • passport and travel-document information
  • previous international travel and visa history
  • photographs and identification documents; and
  • other information reasonably required for a particular recruitment, employment or visa process.

Where an applicant uploads or submits a document, personal information visible within that document will also form part of the information provided to us.

Passport and Supporting Documents

Passport information may be required to verify an applicant's identity, travel-document validity and suitability for the relevant employment and visa process.

Where necessary, applicants may be asked to provide copies or images of passport pages, previous visas, identification documents, police clearance certificates or other supporting records.

Original documents may also be reviewed in person where verification is required.

Applicants should provide documents only through an official Mayajaal International process or when specifically requested through an authorised communication channel.

Sensitive Information

Certain employment positions, visa procedures or destination-country requirements may require limited information relating to physical capability, medical requirements, police clearance or criminal proceedings.

Such information will be requested only where reasonably relevant to the applicable recruitment, employment, immigration or compliance process.

Where information is regarded as sensitive personal information under applicable law, additional safeguards and any required consent procedures will apply.

Applicants should not provide detailed medical records, criminal records or other sensitive documents unless specifically requested for an authorised purpose.

Technical Information

When the website is accessed or an application is submitted, limited technical information may be processed as part of the normal operation and security of the website.

This may include browser or device information, submission timestamps, network-related information and technical identifiers used to support website functionality, security and the identification of repeated or abusive submissions.

Mayajaal International does not use applicant information for behavioural advertising.

Cloud Infrastructure and Service Providers

Mayajaal International uses third-party cloud infrastructure and security providers, including Cloudflare, to support the operation, delivery and protection of parts of its website and application systems.

As part of providing these services, limited personal or technical information may be processed through infrastructure operated by such providers.

Technical implementation details relating to internal systems, databases and security architecture are not published as part of this Privacy Policy.

How We Use Personal Information

Personal information may be used to:

  • receive, review and assess applications
  • evaluate eligibility or suitability for available employment opportunities
  • verify identity and supporting documents
  • communicate with applicants
  • arrange interviews or assessments
  • prepare recruitment and employment documentation
  • coordinate with overseas employers
  • facilitate visa and immigration procedures
  • coordinate with authorised or licensed recruiting agencies
  • support BMET, emigration clearance and other legally required procedures
  • maintain relevant contractual and payment-related business records
  • prevent fraud, duplicate applications or misuse
  • respond to enquiries, requests or complaints; and
  • comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Applicant information is not sold to advertisers or other organisations for unrelated marketing purposes.

Basis for Processing

Personal information may be processed where necessary to consider an applicant for an employment opportunity, take steps relating to a potential contractual relationship, perform contractual arrangements, comply with legal or regulatory requirements, or where an appropriate consent has been provided.

The applicable basis may vary depending on the type of information and the stage of the recruitment or visa process.

Where specific consent is legally required, including for certain categories of sensitive information, it may be requested separately.

Application Acknowledgement and Consent

By submitting an application through the official website, an applicant acknowledges that their information will be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Submission of an application does not replace any separate consent that may be required by applicable law for a particular type of information or processing activity.

Certain information is necessary to assess or progress an application. Where an applicant chooses not to provide information required for recruitment, document verification, employment, visa or regulatory purposes, Mayajaal International may be unable to continue the relevant process.

Access Within Mayajaal International

Access to applicant information within Mayajaal International is limited to authorised personnel who require the information for recruitment, applicant support, documentation, administration, compliance or related operational purposes.

Access should be limited according to legitimate operational requirements.

Sharing With Relevant Organisations

Overseas employment requires coordination with organisations outside Mayajaal International.

Where reasonably necessary for an application or related process, relevant information may therefore be shared with:

  • prospective overseas employers
  • authorised or licensed recruiting agencies
  • visa application centres
  • embassies or consular authorities
  • immigration authorities
  • BMET and other competent government authorities
  • organisations involved in legally required emigration procedures; and
  • professional, document-processing, technology or infrastructure service providers supporting the relevant process.

Information will be shared only to the extent reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose or where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

Mayajaal International does not authorise applicant information to be used for unrelated advertising or independent marketing purposes.

Overseas Employers and Recruitment Partners

Where an applicant progresses to an overseas employment opportunity, information relevant to candidate assessment, employment documentation, visa processing or deployment may be provided to the prospective employer or an authorised recruitment partner.

The nature and amount of information shared will depend on the relevant position, employer, destination country and applicable legal requirements.

An independent organisation receiving personal information for its own lawful purposes may have its own obligations and privacy practices in relation to that information.

International Processing

Because Mayajaal International operates in connection with overseas employment, certain personal information may need to be transferred to or processed outside Bangladesh.

This may occur where information is required by an overseas employer, recruitment partner, embassy, visa-processing organisation, immigration authority or technology service provider.

Mayajaal International will seek to limit such processing and transfers to information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose and to handle them in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Payment-Related Information

The public application form does not request payment-card numbers, online-banking passwords, mobile-banking PINs, OTPs or similar financial-account credentials.

Where an applicant progresses to a stage involving an authorised payment, appropriate business records may be maintained, including:

  • amount paid
  • date of payment
  • receipt or transaction reference
  • applicable payment stage; and
  • payment status.

Applicants should never provide banking passwords, PINs, OTPs or other confidential account-access credentials to Mayajaal International or to anyone claiming to represent it.

Information Security

Mayajaal International applies reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse.

These measures may include encrypted transmission, authentication controls, restricted access to administrative systems and controlled handling of applicant documents.

Access to personal information is limited according to operational requirements.

No website, electronic system or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, Mayajaal International does not represent that electronic information is immune from every possible security risk.

Security Incidents

Where a security incident involving personal information is identified, Mayajaal International will assess the circumstances and take appropriate steps to contain, investigate and address the matter.

Where notification or other action is required under applicable law, the relevant legal requirements will be followed.

Age Eligibility

Mayajaal International accepts overseas employment applications only from individuals who are 18 years of age or older.

Applicants under the age of 18 are not eligible to apply through our standard recruitment process. If an application is submitted by a person under 18, the application will not proceed to the recruitment, employment, visa or migration stages.

Applicants may be required to provide appropriate identification or supporting documents to verify their age where necessary.

Accuracy of Information

Applicants are expected to provide information that is complete and accurate to the best of their knowledge.

If submitted information changes or an applicant becomes aware of an error, the relevant information should be updated through an authorised Mayajaal International communication channel.

Supporting documentation may be requested where reasonably necessary to verify information relevant to an application.

False, misleading, altered or fraudulent information or documents may affect an application and may have legal or immigration consequences.

Applicant Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, applicants may request access to personal information held about them and may request the correction of information that is inaccurate or incomplete.

Other privacy rights available under applicable law may also be exercised subject to the conditions, limitations and procedures established by that law.

For security purposes, Mayajaal International may require reasonable verification of identity before responding to a request involving personal information.

Where available, applicants should provide their application reference number when making a privacy-related request, as this helps identify the relevant application record.

Privacy-related requests may be submitted through the official support channels published on mayajaalinternational.com.

Withdrawal of Consent

Where a specific processing activity is based on consent, the applicant may withdraw that consent through an official Mayajaal International communication channel.

Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to continue an application where the relevant information is necessary for recruitment, document verification, employment or visa processing.

Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully carried out before the withdrawal or processing that may continue on another lawful basis.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Mayajaal International does not use third-party behavioural advertising technologies on its public application pages.

Essential technical or security mechanisms may be used where necessary to operate, protect and maintain the website.

Infrastructure and security providers may also process limited technical information or use technologies necessary to provide and secure their services.

Internal administrative systems may use authentication technologies necessary for authorised access.

Third-Party Websites and Services

The website may contain links to government websites, visa-processing organisations, overseas employers or other external resources.

Such organisations and websites operate independently and may have their own privacy policies, terms and information-handling practices.

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed by or on behalf of Mayajaal International and does not govern information submitted directly by an applicant to an independent third party.

Legal and Regulatory Disclosure

Personal information may be disclosed where required by applicable law, a lawful request from a competent authority, regulatory requirement, court order or other legally valid process.

Information may also be used or disclosed where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights, investigate suspected fraud or misconduct, or protect applicants, Mayajaal International or other parties from unlawful or harmful activity.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Mayajaal International may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in its services, recruitment procedures, technology, service providers or applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.

Where appropriate and technically available, the version of the Privacy Policy associated with an application may be recorded for administrative and compliance purposes.
